Vermicomposting Class

Vermicomposting, also known as vermiculture composting or worm composting, is the procedure of using worms and micro-organisms to recycle food scraps and other household waste into a nutrient-rich black soil and compost tea. The class will start with a brief biology of worms and how they make a living and how this works for composting. We’ll look at a variety of methods of establishing a vermicomposting set up and go over tips and tricks to maintaining and using products of the “worm factory”.
