A recent federal decision kept the Greater Sage-Grouse off the endangered species list – for now. Come learn about what makes these birds special fromTerry Messmer, sage-grouse expert and Quinney Professor for Wildlife Conflict Management and Brandon Flack, Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Wildland Resources, Quinney College of Natural Resources at Utah State University. This will be two day event – and evening lecture followed by an early morning visit to the legendary Henefer Lek. 

Due the special nature of this field trip and the risk of impacting an essential sensitive mating process – we can only take a limited number of people to the lekking grounds.
