Wild Wednesdays: How Much Wood Could a Woodchuck Chuck if a Woodchuck Could Chuck Wood?

Whistle pigs, Woodchuck, land beavers, what do you call a groundhog? Ground hogs are famous this time of year for predicting how much longer winter will last. Can they really predict our season length? Join us for an in-depth look at this creature and its marmot cousins.

PARKING INFO

Please park in the dirt lot, and walk down Birdhouse Trail to check in at the Visitor Center.  As you reach the end of Birdhouse Trail, the Visitor Center is located just over the bridge, to the North.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO

Limited Wheelchair Access along Birdhouse Trail, to the Visitor Center, and around the Birds of Prey exhibit and mews.
