Yelp's Plant Month: Tulip Planting Project at Thanksgiving Point

Come dig in the dirt and help Thanksgiving Point plant their spring tulip bulbs! Join others for an evening of volunteer fun with the garden pros at Ashton Gardens. You’ll get to see how the pros prep in the autumn for the incredible spring Tulip Festival. Plant some bulbs and you’ll be a part of it! You must RSVP on Yelp to attend.

Every year, Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point plants over 280,000 tulips bulbs. With your help we will be able to get so much done! We may be planting tulips and other plants or pulling out some of our fall/summer plants to make room for the tulips! You will be kneeling and/or squatting. You might be raking or moving crates of tulips.  We are happy to work with any physical limitations you might have, just let us know.

Yelp will provide you with some light eats and drinks, so you just come ready to dig in the soil. Kids ages 12 and up are welcome.
