ArtCore believes in building humanity through all cultures, through art. We provide educational opportunities, for all populations for the arts as art. This allows the whole population to prosper as a unified culture.
The vision of ArtCore is to serve all populations as agents of change to promote humanity and culture through artistic excellence in the celebration of life.
We do artistic lessons and community art at events, as well as work with the After School Club in spreading art education for the sake of art.
ArtCore brings arts to the community where there is little to no access for a large part of the population. This is due to the cultural divides created by ‘High and Low culture’, where the subcultures do not often intersect. Even if art is offered in schools because of the CORE standards of which classes you have to take there remains little time to actually take the art classes.
ArtCore works with volunteers, and the board to offer these artistic explorations to the public. For example, after school programs have enough time and structure to be incorporated into ArtCore. ArtCore teaches art for the sake of art, allowing the individuals involved to grow in the ways that come naturally to them.
The specific cultures that ArtCore will serve at first is the underserved cultures in Utah, and as that is established it will branch out to all cultures. The point of this is to create community, and creati
