Cat + Fish Dances is a project-based dance company in Salt Lake City. Founded in 2015 under the direction of Cat Kamrath, Cat + Fish Dances has performed their works at the University of Utah, Utah’s Museum of Fine Arts, the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival, and RAW Artists SLC. Their production, ‘Filament,’ was named ‘Best of F’ at the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival in 2016 and was reviewed by loveDANCEmore program coordinator Amy Falls. Their current research interests include looking at the architecture of the human body, performances spaces, and real human experiences. Current repertoire includes ‘Swims Our Blood’ (2014), ‘Fibers’ (2015), ‘Filament’ (2016), and ‘Furrow’ (2017).
