CityJazz Big Band

The twenty-piece band is made up of exceptional musicians from along Utah’s Wasatch Front and represents the characteristics and diversity of the cities throughout the area. CityJazz is unique in that many of its members are jazz educators and composers, and their works are often central features of the band’s concerts. In addition to original music, CityJazz Big Band plays many styles of music, from big band classics and vocals to contemporary jazz, rock, and even a little bit of country. The highly versatile band members can perform in smaller combos as well, depending on the type of event and needs. CityJazz Big Band looks forward to continuing to provide unique, fun, interesting and exciting performances in Utah.
