Dixie State Symphony Orchestra

The Dixie State Symphony Orchestra is the resident orchestra on the campus of Dixie State College. Directed by Dr. Paul Abegg the DSSO season consists of four performances each year on campus with additional appearances in the community and surrounding areas including an annual performance in Pine Valley. Made up of 65 of Dixie State’s finest musicians the ensemble performs repertoire from the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries.
