The Arts and Humanities Program exists to further the long tradition of cathedral churches being a home for artistic expression. This program oversees all arts and humanities events in The Cathedral of the Madeleine, including the Madeleine Festival (spring), the Eccles Organ Festival (autumn) and the Cathedral Concert Series (year round). Additionally, the arts and humanities program offers opportunities for Utah performing artists to present programs appropriate for the cathedral throughout the year.

Kate MacLeod’s Songs for a Cathedral.

May 3 and 4:
Sight Meets Sound, with Utah Chamber Artists.

May 10:
The Madeleine Award Dinner honoring James T. Svendsen.

May 17:
Judicium, Sapientia et Spiritus: Music of Bach, Charpentier and Lully.

May 24:
Music as Healing, with Tenor Michael Ballam.

June 7:
Dance as a Language of Praise, with Childrens Dance Theatre and choristers from the Madeleine Choir School.
