Ogden UnCon

Ogden UnCon

Ogden UnCon is an annual pop culture convention committed to inspiring, motivating, and celebrating pop culture, its creativity, and art forms. Through our pop culture convention, we will shine a light on the arts, artists, and city of Ogden, UT.

How are we unconventional? Besides dedicating ourselves, 100% to the attendees’ comic con experience, we’re also dedicated to the success of our local artists, writers, filmmakers, etc. As a part of our regular programming, Ogden UnCon puts artists with industry professionals to increase the likelihood of local creator success.

We seek to introduce unconventional celebrity guests to our local community, guests like Sophia the Robot. She has taken the world by storm and is the world’s first artificial intelligence to have been given citizenship. Among other things, Sophia continues to meet with world leaders, address the United Nations, has appeared on TV shows such as The Daily Show and The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, and has graced the cover of Cosmopolitan, ELLE magazine, and more. Sophia is the personification of the comic con spirit. She is science fiction, fantasy, technological marvel, and superhero come to life. And we are honored she is making her first comic con debut at Ogden UnCon.

Ogden UnCon’s content goes beyond our grand list of celebrity guests. Our over 300 hours of panels, 24 hr gaming, shows, and parties are sure to help showcase Ogden City as a destination.
