The Springville Museum of Art (SMA) is a premier promoter and contributor to the arts in Utah displaying over 15 exhibitions annually, several of them juried exhibitions featuring Utah artists. Nearly 3,000 works; 2,000 of which are Utah art, are housed in the museum. SMA is the  permanent home of an impressive collection of 150 years of Utah fine art, twentieth century Russian-Soviet Socialist Realism, and American Realist art. The artwork is displayed throughout 29 galleries in this 45,000 square foot facility as well as in a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden, all constructed in Spanish Colonial Revival style architecture.

As part of the POPS (Professional Outreach Program to Schools), the museum is home for visual art educational outreach programs to Utah schools. In addition, SMA hosts community events, concerts and recitals, an art festival, and lecture series.  The museum is available for rentals.

Hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-5, Wednesday 10-9, Sunday 3-6; closed Mondays and Holidays. Admission is free. The Museum is located at 126 E. 400 S. Springville, Utah, directly off freeway I-15.  For further information, visit www.smofa.org  or call (801) 489-2727.
