The Off Broadway Theatre and Laughing Stock Improv opened in 1994 and became a non-for-profit 501 (c)(3) in 2008 bringing family-friendly, original parodies, musical parodies and great theatrical performances for over 20 years to Salt Lake City.
The mission of the Off Broadway Theatre is to enrich the Wasatch Front by inspiring laughter, developing talents and fostering learning through the creative expression of the theatrical arts, live improv comedy, and volunteering opportunities to serve our community.

Our Response to COVID-19:
The Off Broadway Theatre highly recommends that you wear masks while attending an event at our location. We are not mandating masks unless the Utah state laws have been changed. We follow the CDC and Utah Health Department recommendations and encourage you to wear masks to help us slow the spread of COVID. You will keep our staff, volunteers, and actors safer so they can perform and share the gift of laughter with you and your family. We shall update our webpage with any changes.
