U Ballroom Dance Company

The U Ballroom Dance Company is the source of Ballroom formation performance at the University of Utah. It consists of three Ballroom Dance teams and over 60 students. The teams dance all the International and American Ballroom styles in small and large group formations and as solo couples. U BDC performs on campus and throughout the community in an effort to reflect outstanding conduct and skill on the University of Utah. Its students develop qualities such as teamwork, sacrifice, fundraising and sales experience, and service as they practice 6-8 hours a week and provide shows and dance instruction to nursing homes and special needs in the local community. U BDC aims to deepen and improve Ballroom Dance formation technique and ability at the University of Utah. We also promote the fun and joy of ballroom dance to all and any, experienced or inexperienced.
