University of Utah: College of Architecture and Urban Planning

The College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Utah welcomes you to explore our unique program. Since 1951, we have been the only architecture school in the State of Utah. In 2003, we added the urban planning program and made many other enhancements. The mission of the College has remained unchanged, however. It is to bring together a community of students, faculty, and staff with a broad range of interests and expertise in creative design, building, planning, computer technology, issues of social and ecological responsibility, and the scholarly study of the history and theory of the built landscape. In this wide range of interests is a common concern for constructing and maintaining the highest quality in our built and natural environments.
