Greg Daniels - Guitar Greg started playing guitar @ 10 years old. His first professional gig was at the ripe age of 12 when his band "Zhem & the Rest" opened for "Sam the Sham & the Pharaoh's". Throughout Jr. High & High School, Greg played in a number of successful bands in Central California. One of the highlights was as the opening act for the Gallywogs, who later changed their name to Creedence Clearwater Revival. After high school, Greg toured the West Coast and ended up in Portland, Oregon, where he played for years in "Ground Zero" a favorite local rock band, and jammed with many blues musicians including Robert Cray, and Paul Delay. Greg semi retired to raise a family during the late 70's & 80's. In the early 90's Greg started playing again, and surfaced in the Salt Lake City blues scene. Playing with local bands, including Snake & the Fatman, Tempo Timers, Harry Lee and the Back Alley Blues Band, and currently the Ides of Soul. Has jammed with, or opened for national blues acts like WC Clark, Buddy Miles, Sleepy LaBeef, Leon Russell, The fabulous Thunderbirds, Kenny Neal, etc. At 55 years old, Greg still plays the Blues like it should be.
