Travis Cox is 25 years old and is a versatile actor who has played all types of roles from Shakespeare to Musical Theatre. His most recent, and possibly most challenging role was that of the title role in Macbeth. Some favorite roles include: Action - West Side Story, Judge Turpin - Sweeney Todd, Andrew Rally - I Hate Hamlet, Orlando - As You Like It, Hortensio - Taming of the Shrew, File - 110 in the Shade, Herrick - The Crucible, Senex - A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and many more. Last Summer he acted in Biloxi Blues, as Joseph Wykowski, and Harvey, as Dr. Lyman Sanderson, in The Neil Simon Festival. He has worked on a Short Film for IHC called 'We'll be There' and 'Hey Kiddo' for The Space Between Theatre. He is also a member of 'Off the Cuff' a highly successful improve troupe. (www.otccomedy.com) He has done lighting designs for 'Brigadoon' 'The Maker of Dreams' and 'The Servant of Two Masters.' And Sound Designs for 'Dancing at Lughnasa' and 'Almost Maine'. He also plays, and composes on, several instruments including the guitar, the piano, the harmonica, and the Irish Whistle. Travis was awarded the regional sound design award in 2009 at the annual KCACTF for his sound design of Dancing at Lughnasa. He is currently acting in Broadway Bound for the 2010 Neil Simon Festival Season.
