I have worked in all capacities of the theatrical world at some point in my life. I love the theatre and am excited when I gets to produce my own work. I am the mother of three. Two wonderful and very precocious girls, Ivy and Madeleine, and my angel, Ian. I am married to Mickey Murphy. I own Poison Ivy Mysteries which does Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre where I write, direct, produce and occasionally act. But why? Why do I do it? I do it because I believe that people want to think while they are being entertained. I do it because I believe people are smart and need the chance to express it. I do it because I know that people deserve to take a break from the same old thing day in and day out. I do it because I believe that life is fun and we can all work together to bring happiness to each other. I do it so that actors, musicians and the general public can have moments of greatness. I do it so that we can have an Ah-ha moment and be amazed by ourselves. I do it because it equalizes and brings people together in a spirit of fun and excitement. I produce Murder Mysteries because they lift the spirits and bring us together. And that is why!
