Now in its 27th year, The Choral Arts Society of Utah Master Chorale’s 110-voice mixed choir is based in Salt Lake City. Many of their performances are benefit concerts for schools and organizations providing humanitarian services to local areas. The Master Chorale performed a collaborative performance in Helena, Montana where they joined Maestro Allan R. Scott, and the Helena Symphony and Chorus, The Camerata Singers (Scott Anderson, conductor), Salt lake Children’s Choir (Ralph Woodward, conductor) and nationally renowned soloists in Gustav Mahler’s 8th Symphony. The Choir performed in the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. for the Memorial Day Concert in 2011 and has performed twice in Carnegie Hall since 1999. In 2005, the choir toured Austria for the 250-year anniversary celebration of Mozart. The Choir has also performed locally for two Gubernatorial Inaugurations and at several venues during the 2002 Olympic Games.
