Capitol Theatre supporters,

The Capitol Theatre closes for renovations on April 1, 2019, and reopens on October 1, 2019.  Please join us at a public open house and preview of the the Capitol Theatre renovation projects.  The open house is on Tuesday, March 26, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Capitol Theatre lobby.

During the six-month closure, we will add new ADA seating and a new cross-aisle on the orchestra level, reattach the original Terra Cotta roof cornice, re-roof the building, and install a new sound system.  This is the second round of planned renovations for the Theatre; the first round was completed in 2014.

Representatives from the project team will be available to discuss the architecture and construction, the Terra Cotta replacement project, and the features and benefits of the Capitol Theatre renovations. You will also be able to enter the auditorium and see where the new cross-aisle and ADA seating will be located.
