Welcome to Draper’s Original Music Revue for youth 5-18, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2018. Auditions are May 15 and 16 at the Draper Amphitheater (944 Vestry Rd). Audition times are assigned by gender and age (see the schedule below) and the audition process has three steps:

1. Come prepared to sing a song of your choice. You may bring sheet music, a karaoke recording or sing a cappella. Please do NOT sing with the singer on a regular recording.
2. Let us hear your loudest clearest speaking voice by telling a joke or poem or reading from the script. If you would like, you can make one of our puppets tell the joke.
3. Be prepared to learn and perform a short dance.

You must enroll with our online system BEFORE you show up for auditions. Read and follow these instructions that explain how to enroll for online auditions. Again, do this BEFORE you show up for auditions.

Cast-Parent Meeting

We’ll hold a cast-parent meeting on Saturday 2 June at 9 am at the Amphitheater. We’ll go over important topics such as the rehearsal schedule, vacations, and serving on committees.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are (mostly) on weekday mornings in June and July, 9 am to noon at the Amphitheater. No one will be required to attend every day. Rehearsals will start on Monday 4 June and for that week only they will be held in early afternoon. After that week rehearsals will switch back to mornings.

Performances

Performances are July 26, 27, 28, and 30 at the Amphitheater.

Cast Fee

Cast fee is $25 per child, due at the cast meeting. Alternatively, you can pay cast fee with additional committee hours.
