Salt Lake Film Society is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Part Time Development Associate to assist on site with our end of year membership drive and events. This position reports to the Associate Director of Development. While on duty, this individual would be primarily responsible for managing the membership kiosk, but will also recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Development volunteers for the pre-show announcement component of the drive, handle all outgoing membership mailings, coordinate membership fulfillment, perform database cleanup tasks, and other tasks as assigned. Shifts will be strategically scheduled to include optimal weekend coverage. We are looking for an individual who can easily grasp the details of the Red Carpet Club program and effectively communicate with patrons to help spread awareness of and increase participation in the program.

This position is part time (limited to 29 hours per week), seasonal (October 1 through December 31, 2019), and temporary. However, based on the success of the candidate and the need for ongoing support after December 31, an offer of ongoing employment after the seasonal contract ends may be a possibility.
Salt Lake Film Society is the home of independent film in Utah. We are a nonprofit (NPO) 501c-3 organization. Our mission is to educate, advocate and inform the community about and through cinema. The SLFS vision is to be an indispensable, location-based cinema institute that inspires artists, achieves high-cultural impact, and adds to the quality of life in Salt Lake City.
