Salary
$47,600 to $60,000 annually

Schedule
Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Position will occasionally require work and event support outside of normal shift hours.

Job Summary
Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. (May include Systems Administrator II, Exchange Systems Administrator, Microsoft Systems Administrator, and UNIX Systems Administrator). Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience, judgment, instructions, and pre-established guidelines to plan and accomplish goals. Requires sound judgment, ingenuity, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-friendly attitude. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

Responsibilities
Effectively, professionally, and respectfully represents the entire IT staff and their services to staff, patrons, and associates of Red Butte Garden
Administrate and support all IT systems, applications, and services. Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing users regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy
Administrate and deploy devices, software updates, patches, scripts, and licenses
Monitor computers and IT systems to ensure security and integrity of systems and data
Document IT systems configurations and procedures. Document issue resolutions. Create documentation and tutorials for staff
Monitoring and analysis of IT systems and operations
Administrate architecture and access of company website
Administrate user management and user account systems
Support IT systems during major events, occasionally outside of normal shift hours
Execute IT related projects as assigned by IT Manager

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences
3+ years of experience managing IT systems preferred
2+ years of direct IT support experience preferred; Patience, a positive, customer-friendly attitude and the ability to work in a team environment
2+ years of demonstrated experience with HTML , CSS , and JavaScript preferred
Experience administrating and supporting Windows and macOS systems preferred. Linux experience is favorable
Computer hardware knowledge and support preferred
Familiarity of networking concepts and computer server systems
Experience using Jekyll, AWS , Git, or other website content management systems preferred
Experience writing and deploying bash scripts preferred
Command line interface ( CLI ) experience desirable
Experience with data systems and analysis preferred
Previous experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager preferred
Flexible work schedule; Ability to work Tuesdays through Saturdays preferred
