Primary Responsibilities: VISTA Development Coordinator will: (1) develop & manage strategic plans to secure funding from local, regional, & national corporations, foundations, & government sources & complete likelihood of award analysis using & updating the COI grant decision calculator; (2) research, write, & coordinate grant application processes; (3) organize of the grant calendar, binder, & Google Drive folder & steward current partnerships; (4) create effective proposal content with quantitative research & meaningful grant reporting; (5) develop & send reports, correspondence, & thank-you letters to funders & other stakeholders; (6) share the mission & community impact of COI; (7) market, maintain, & coordinate the COI mini-grant program; (8) create tracking & organization system for new & existing partners of COI Material Diversion Program composed of local businesses & manufacturers; (9) engage in community workshops & talks & skill-building programs related to grant-writing & sustainability management.
