​Winners will be featured in our upcoming Sor Juana Poetry publication in collaboration with the Community Writing Center, The City Library, and Utah Humanities

A total of 9 pieces will be featured on a publication made in collaboration with the SLCC Community Writing Center. Cash prizes will be awarded for each work selected. One work will be selected as the official cover for publication. The selected works will be published on our website, El Semanal magazine, and media statewide will be notified.

Winners will be announced at the Utah Humanities Book Festival in Salt Lake City this fall.

Entry Rules:

Image size: Please submit a single high-resolution image in 300 ppi in either .bmp, .jpeg/jpg, or .tiff formats (if submitting photos for sculpture, please submit images of multiple angles)
Categories being accepted are Photography, Painting Drawing, Sculpture, and Mixed-Media
Must be an original visual art piece, made within the last year

Must be a Utah resident

Only one submission per person accepted
