JOB SUMMARY: Works in the Training and Development unit of Human Resources. Acts as the registrar and manages the registration and transcript data for courses necessary for the COVID-19 responders.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in Business, Human Resources, or other closely related field; OR three (3) years of closely related experience in human resources administration; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manages class schedule including input, registration and closing of classing in the Learning Management System (LMS)
Acts as the central repository for information regarding the training and development schedules and programs.
Provides LMS support services to employees
Provides related communications regarding learning events, changes to event schedules, topics, etc.
Prepares training analytic reports for various stakeholders
Prepares and distributes learning and development course outlines, curriculum, manuals, and other materials, as necessary.
Tracks COVID-19 related training requirements for participants and communicates progress.
Schedules use of facility and equipment and ensures it is maintained in proper working condition; maintains a professional learning environment with the training facility; makes recommendations for purchase and repair of equipment.
Schedules and manages virtual training sessions
Responsible for internal archival records of learning and development content and curriculum.
Assists in developing marketing strategies to communicate learning opportunities; notifies customers about availability of training opportunities; prepares copies and coordinates distribution of training catalogues, flyers, and email announcements.
Responsible for maintaining and updating the training calendar.
Coordinates meetings, securing locations for events and other functions.
Assists in implementation and coordination of recognition events, graduation ceremonies and other related completion events as required.
