Calling all Utah makers! Craft Lake City will celebrate the upcoming season by offering two exciting ways for artisans to participate in our Annual Holiday Market:

Option One: In-Person! Craft Lake City is excited to return to The Monarch in Ogden’s Nine Rails Creative District for the Second Annual Craft Lake City Holiday Market. Now a two-day event, the in-person market will be held on Fri., Dec. 4 from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Sat., Dec. 5 from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. A new set of artisans will participate each day of the market. Craft Lake City will be taking careful precautions to create a safe environment for makers and attendees based on governmental covid-19 guidelines. Limited spaces will be available to ensure proper social distancing. Craft food artisans will be encouraged to participate in the online market, as craft food products cannot be sold on-site. Applications for the in-person market are due Tue., Oct. 13.

Option Two: Online Market with Virtual Meetups! Are you interested in participating but are not yet ready to vend at an in-person event? Craft Lake City understands and is happy to provide an alternative—the Online Craft Lake City Holiday Market! This market will emphasize online retail sales by highlighting artisan and foodie profiles through a brand new web design that will allow creatives the autonomy to update their information, including product images, bios, web stores, social media handles and video links. The Online Craft Lake City Holiday Market will run Nov. 1–30 with two live virtual meetup events taking place on Fri., Nov. 6 and Fri., Nov. 20 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in our custom-made, virtual reality, holiday wonderland! Applications for the online market are due Tue., Oct. 20.

Both Holiday Market platforms will feature handmade gifts by dozens of Utah’s top artisans. Please review the Holiday Market Artisan Prospectus before applying, and email artisancoordinator@craftlakecity.com if you have any questions. Artisans are welcome to apply to both Holiday Market experiences, but must complete separate applications for the online and in-person markets. Please note that there are separate $20 non-refundable application fees required for the in-person and online markets to help support Craft Lake City’s mission and nonprofit administrative costs.
