SEAMSTRESS - Performing Arts

Excellent seamstress wanted for theatrical costume sewing. This is a salaried position, along with production team bonuses upon successful completion of each play.

Basic sewing skills are needed for these easy costume ideas. All materials are furnished. Seamstress is required to meet the Production Crew's guidelines:

• Clean background
• Right to work in the  USA
• Second Covid 19 vaccination complete
• 1-2 yrs sewing experience in working with theater is preferred, but will accept experienced sewers
• Must be available to do fittings and maintain costumes during each play.
• Must provide their own insurance for their equipment; sewing machines, etc.
• Must live within 50 miles of production or be willing to travel.
• Prefer a resume or compilation of finished work

These costumes  vary per play from easy to more elaborate. They are basic in sewing structure and do not require special machinery or stitching.
