The Salt Lake City Arts Council is proud to present the 32nd annual Living Traditions Festival May 19 -21 at the City & County Building and Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City. Admission is free.
We are excited to welcome special guest artist Omar Souleyman to the festival. Souleyman, who is from Syria, will be performing his synthesized version of Levantine dance music, called Dabke, on Friday, May 21 at 9:00 p.m. on the North Stage.
The 2017 festival will also include traditional cultural presentations from over 80 local performing artists and 35 craft artisans, as well as traditional food from around the world from 19 different vendors.
