KARGI KALA KENDRA

Dance director and instructor Sudha Kargi is a seasoned and versatile dancer, teacher and choreographer who studied Indian dance in Chennai, India. Recipient of several Idaho and Utah Artist Awards and grants, she currently lives and teaches dance in Sandy, Utah. Her students learn both theoretical and practical aspects of Bharatanatyam.

TANGO WEST

Brian Salisbury has been dancing tango for 20 years. He has studied tango in Buenos Aires and at workshops at Reed College Tango Institute for Musicians. Facundo Maximiliano Plaza has a degree in music from the U of U. Originally from Argentina, he is interested in different genres of popular music including jazz and tango. Together with other Utah musicians and tango dancers, Tango West presents an evening of great dancing and passionate music you won’t soon forget!
