This Is The Place Heritage Park and The Days of ’47, Inc. are pleased to announce a major addition, the Pioneer Children Memorial. This new monument will be dedicated on July 20th and will then be open to the public. Featuring a unique combination of bronze statuary, stone memorials, and a unique water feature surrounded by beautiful landscaping, this monument will tell the story of hundreds of young pioneers – the children who never made it to the Salt Lake Valley and were buried along the way.
