Having trouble getting close to the woman you love? Don't worry. Figaro can help, and he might just be the best wingman in all of opera! Charming and clever Rosina has captured the attention of two men: the older Dr. Bartolo and the wealthy Count Almaviva. Enter Seville's barber, Figaro, who is enlisted by the Count to assist him in winning Rosina's heart, and does so through a series of hilarious pranks and disguises. Highlights: Baritone Michael Adams, featured among "25 Rising Stars" by Opera News, sings the famous "Figaro! Figaro! Figaro!" aria as the barber Former Utah Opera Resident Artist mezzo-soprano Sarah Coit returns to the Capitol Theatre stage to perform the role of Rosina Experience this hilarious opera through a colorful production set in the 1960s with scenery by Shoko Kambara and costumes by Amanda Seymour. Sung in Italian with English supertitles.
