"Nights in Jazz" -CANCELLED

Presented by Salt Lake Symphony at Libby Gardner Hall - University of Utah

Due to the continuing situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and in support of efforts to mitigate the effects of the disease, we have made the decision to cancel the remainder of the Salt Lake Symphony season. This means that both the April and the May concerts will not occur as scheduled.

*****

In just a few short years, trumpeter Kris Johnson has become synonymous with jazz excellence in SLC. An international recording and touring musician, Kris will join us with a select jazz combo to perform works with symphonic orchestra and jazz ensemble. Also on the program are two works by pioneers of the jazz age, An American in Paris by George Gershwin and Duke Ellington's Black, Brown and Beige Suite. Join us as we swing the night away and close out the 2019-2020 concert season in style!
