Learn how to create cool paintings without the use of a paintbrush or pallet knife.
Acrylic Pour painting combines colors into abstract cell-like patterns on the canvas. It’s a lot of fun and exciting to see colors come together in a pattern that is as unique as you are. This 3-hour class is great for beginners and anyone interested in trying a new painting technique.
Students will learn how to mix color, use pouring medium, the importance of consistency, and how colors interact. Three different pouring techniques will be demonstrated including the bottle bottom, dirty dump, and positive and negative. Students will choose which style they would like to do for their personal project. At the end of class, each student will have a 16 x 20 one-of-a-kind finished work of art to enjoy. It takes several days for the paint to dry, so a pickup date will be announced for the following week.
