The Antelope Chamber Players are a nonprofit chamber music ensemble based in Bountiful, Utah. The group’s mission is to provide “live and local” chamber music to the Bountiful area community – a regular series of live concerts, with a group comprised of local Davis County professional musicians. Cellist Steven Farr and violist Staci Armstrong formed the ensemble in 2018 and began playing concerts and raising funds for an inaugural season to begin in 2019.
Current members of the Antelope Chamber Players are active performers and dedicated teachers. They have played in orchestras, chamber music festivals, and opera festivals throughout the United States and Europe, and have been members of the honors and graduate string quartets at the University of Utah, the Orchestra at Temple Square, Pioneer Theatre Company, and other professional ensembles. In addition to private studio teaching, the Antelope Chamber Players are represented on the faculties of Weber State University, the Gifted Music School, and the North Carolina Suzuki Institute.
The Antelope Chamber Players perform regularly at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Centerville, Utah. Their 2019-2020 season features the music of Beethoven, Brahms, Dvořák, Schubert, and many others.
