Babcock Performing Readers presents a staged reading of the classic horror/comedy Arsenic and Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring.
Arsenic and Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring, is this year's Babcock impromptu reading event. Directed by Paul Emery, this production features Babcock members reading "cold" from the script.
Based on an actual event at a boarding house in Connecticut, where the landlady offered boarders a "lifetime of care," and them poisoned them for their pensions.
