Chinese New Year is a time to reconnect with family, let go of the past, and get ready for a fresh start. Enjoy a Lion Dance, cultural program, crafts, calligraphy demonstrations, and more.

Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival, and is based on the Lunar Calendar.

This year we begin the year of the rat. Our celebration will include a Lion Dance, a cultural program, family-friendly crafts, a movie screening, calligraphy demonstrations, and a discussion of traditional Chinese medicine.

This event is held in partnership with the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Utah and The City Library.
