Engage. Lead. Impact. Eccles Inclusion Week celebrates our diverse community and aims to strengthen the inclusive culture at the David Eccles School of Business. The week will kick off with the MLK march, and include a series of events including panel discussions, service projects, and an inspiring keynote speech from Celina Milner, Senior Policy Advisor for the Office of Diversity and Human Rights for the Salt Lake City mayor’s office.

MONDAY, JAN 20: MLK March
Rally 2:30 p.m., East High School
Join fellow Eccles School and U students to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr Day with a rally and march from East High School to Kingsbury Hall. We march to celebrate his legacy and the work of many activists during the Civil Rights movement. Refreshments will be available following the march.

TUESDAY, JAN 21: Roundtable Discussion: Dialoguing Across Difference Discussion
12: 15 p.m., Child Hall
We invite Eccles School students, faculty, and staff to join Dean Taylor Randall in a discussion about learning and development around a sense of belonging and inclusion for every member of our community. Our voice matters, and this is a great opportunity to share perspectives across the Eccles School. Lunch provided.

WEDNESDAY, JAN 22: Keynote: Celina Milner
12:15 p.m., Child Hall
Come hear Celina Milner share her insights about the importance and benefits of inclusivity in different professional spheres, how to be an inclusive leader, and her current work in the Office of Diversity and Human Rights at the Salt Lake City Mayor’s office. She’ll also talk about her own career path which includes private, public, and non-profit work in many different sectors of our community. Lunch provided.

THURSDAY, JAN 23: Panel Discussion: Crafting a Career with Impact
12:15 p.m., Child Hall
Participate in a discussion with panelists who have found ways to make a difference in the community through their work. Join Eccles School alumni and faculty to learn about ways you can create a career with impact. Lunch provided.

FRIDAY, JAN 24: Case Competition & Networking Lunch
9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Child Hall
