MARCH 15, 2020: Alta Ski Area will be suspending operations starting Sunday morning, March 15, until further notice to limit the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Join Cottonwood Canyons Foundation for a tour on the other winter wild side of Alta. Explore aspen groves, find animal prints or droppings, and learn about Alta's natural history. Tours are the 3rd Saturday of the month.

What to bring: Snow boots, snowshoes, sunscreen, water, and layer your winter/snow clothing. Snowshoe rentals available at the Alta Ski Shop.

Where to meet: 10am Inside the east end of the Albion Day Lodge. Tours last approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours. Tours are weather conditions permitted.

Attention Educators: Take your students on a field trip they won't forget! Connect students with the basic science of their watershed and the natural history of the area. Call for more info and to schedule an outing.
