Please join the University of Utah’s Friends of the J Willard Marriott Library for an eventful evening of a display of rare books, dinner, silent auction, and a presentation by Ann Staples, Pop-up book collector, and founder and president of the Moveable Book Society. Ann will discuss the history of movable books and show examples of these hand-crafted creations. See how complex paper engineering educates and entertains readers. A selection of  Special Collections rare book holdings of pop-up books will be on display.
