It’s International Women’s Day! Join Discovery Gateway in celebrating women’s social, cultural, and political achievements and learning the importance of gender equality. Author DK Ackerman will host a special STEAM Storytime in The Learning Center. We’ll also have women’s voting rights heroes, Susan B. Anthony and Alice Merrill Horne, at the museum from 2-3pm telling stories, taking pictures and talking about the Suffragettes. Make and collect trading cards in the STEAM Studio, learn about female scientists and create a Zine in the STEAM Lab. All are welcome to enjoy this day of empowering everyone to work together.

Park in the WINTER PARKING GARAGE–LEVEL +2– at The Gateway Mall. Park toward the south end of the garage and enter the elevator lobby in the southwest corner. Press +2 in the elevator to get to Discovery Gateway admissions. Parking validations may be purchased at Admissions Desk or Information Desk for $1, and they cover up to 3 hours.
