MARCH 13, 2020: Due to the recent developments of COVID-19 and in an effort to prevent further spread and protect our communities, the Utah Department of Heath and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is CANCELLING the Leprechaun Lope scheduled for this Saturday, March 14.

Get ready to get green and get silly! Come join 1000 costumed runners in the 30th Annual Leprechaun Lope. 100% of profits - over 70% of your entry fee - benefits Our Lady of Lourdes School. Watch for real leprechauns hiding along the courses! All races start at the State Capitol and finish in Memory Grove. The 10K starts at 8:30 AM sharp.The 5K starts at 8:35 AM sharp.The 2 mile run run starts at 8:40 AM (not timed).
Course Details
The 10K and 5K courses are US Track and Field Certified. The 10K course proceeds up City Creek Canyon about two miles then circles back. The 5K course proceeds up Bonneville Blvd and circles back. All courses end together in Memory Grove.

Kid and dog friendly! Be sure to use a leash on strollers and on dogs. Please keep right to allow the fast runners to run fast - especially on the last mile through Memory Grove.

After the race, join in the fun at the St. Patrick's Day Parade along 200 South between 500 East and the Gallivan Center.

Admission Info

Entry Fee (Individual): $20 for kids 14 and under, $30 for adults; after March 7 cost increases to $30 for kids 14 and under, $40 for adults and shirt not guaranteed.
Entry Fee (Corporate Team/Centipede): $100 per team; after March 7 cost increases to $120/team.
Race Packet Pick-Up (must be registered before March 7): March 12 and 13 from 4-8 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School (1065 E 700 S) and on race day at 7:45 a.m. at the State Capitol (near start line).
