2020 Carillon Concert -CANCELLED

Presented by America's Freedom Festival at Provo at Centennial Carillon Tower (BYU Bell Tower)

Out of an abundance of caution, and with the hopes of minimizing the spread of Covid-19 in our community, America’s Freedom Festival at Provo has postponed all regular summer events until 2021.

*****

The BYU Centennial Carillon Tower has stood as a symbol of freedom and spirit for 40 years. The annual Freedom Festival Carillon Concert awakens emotions of patriotism and liberty through performances that appeal to children and adults alike. BYU University Carillonneur Don Cook performs patriotic pieces, as well as folk, Broadway, classical and original compositions for an eager audience on Thursday, June 18, at 7pm. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics to the shady lawns surrounding the tower to enjoy an evening concert. This is one of the more simple and leisurely events of the Festival. Don Cook studied carillon at the University of Kansas until he returned to BYU in 1991 where he participates in the concert yearly.
