Independence Day at the Park begins with an old-fashioned flag ceremony, cannon firing, and a salute to our Nation conducted by the Sons of the American Revolution. This tradition kicks off a fun-filled Fourth of July!
Guests will enjoy all the regular daily activities, plus a host of additional events such as the Candy Cannon, the Ringing of the Anvil, a watermelon eating contest, parades, and more!

This Is The Place Heritage Park welcomes everyone to experience the Park. Our Visitors Center is fully ADA Accessible.
A limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at no charge. The Park is fully wheelchair accessible, though the terrain is difficult in certain areas. Handicapped parking is available at the Visitors Center.
