Then join us for this presentation of personal stories from Bob Rosebush,
a retired secret service agent who guarded Lady Bird Johnson among other
famous persons: Richard Nixon to Jesse Jackson.
He will answer your questions and recall his time in the secret service.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Bob Rosebush
Born in the beauty of the American Midwest, Bob attended the University of
Tulsa for his undergrad. Immediately after earning his M..A. in History from
the University of Oklahoma, Bob joined the military and became a captain in
the US Air Force. After his military service was completed, Bob obtained a
highly honorable position as a US Secret Service Agent. He had the privilege
of guarding LadyBird Johnson on her world travels from 1978-1980. Bob
continued to protect our most important national treasures until his
retirement in 1991. From 1992-2003, Bob became professor Rosebush as he
taught history for Warton County Junior College. At Warton, Bob served as
head of the Department of History, Government, Economics, and Geography.
After his second retirement, Bob moved from Richmond, Texas to Hurricane,
Utah.
