India Cultural Center of Utah presents an instrumental concert by well renowned R. Prasanna, who is a pioneer in performing carnatic music on the Guitar. Guitar Prasanna is an engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, a Magna-Cum-Laude graduate of Berklee college of Music and also a composer of award winning films. He has collaborated with AR Rahman on his MTV Coke Studio project which is released worldwide by Sony Music. He has given lectures at MIT, Harvard University and Osnabruck Institute of Music.

He is accompanied by Rohan Krishnamurthy ( Mridangam), acclaimed a "Pride of India" by the Times of India. Rohan received a PhD in Musicology from the Eastman School of Music as a Provost's fellow and is a recipient of several awards and recognition.
