LEAPIN' LIZARDS - Bluffdale Arts present the Broadway musical ANNIE March 26-28, 2020 at 7 pm with a Saturday matinee at 1 pm.

Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow".

Jocelyn Schrader plays the part of Annie, a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan (Heather Smith). In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (Tim Frost) and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks (Greg Dibble), his personal secretary Grace Farrell (Brittany Weidauer) and a lovable mutt named Sandy (Toby Curtis). Other cast members include Mitchell Larsen as Rooster, Cait Raney as Lily, and Travis Grant as Drake. Orphans Duffy, Kate, July, Tessa, Pepper and Molly are played by Alaya Kipping, Audrey Allen, Jenna Severn, Katelee McArthur, Maycee Anderson and Tessa Jensen
