Despite Self-Quarantining and Social Distancing, we have created a way for you to get out on the trails for some sanity-saving pandemic recovery, all while supporting Mountain Trails this summer with Virtual Running! You can run, job or walk anytime! Everyone of any ability level is welcome!

The 24th Annual Jupiter Peak Steeplechase is a Park City favorite bringing elite athletes as well as weekend warriors to Park City from all over the country. With an elevation profile that resembles an inverted “V” (for vertical!) A 16-mile loop from Park City Mountain Resort (7,000′) to the top of Jupiter Peak (10,000′) and back down.

HOW VIRTUAL WORKS:

Simply register
Once we have confirmed your registration, we will send you; your race bib and finishers medal (to address noted during registration)
You will have a month of July to run the course. If circumstances don’t allow you to run the course, run the distance/elevation at a location of your choice
Once distance has been completed – Take a picture of yourself with your bib and finishers medal and post it to Facebook and Instagram with your time and hashtag: #jupiterpeaksteeplechase; #virtural&virusfree
Email your name, bib #, finish time & where you ran (course or other) to: ginger@mountaintrails.com. Results will be posted online August 1, 2020

This race is also the second stop in the Triple Trail Challenge a 3-Event stage race over a nine-week period for the personal accomplishment of the hard-core trail warrior. The 3-Stages include:

 - Round Valley Rambler - June 20, 2020
 - Jupiter Peak Steeplechase - July 11, 2020
 - Mid Mountain Marathon - August 15, 2020
