The Payson Mural Project is an organization to promote the creation of murals in Payson, Utah
Through a group of citizens, The Payson Mural Project is community wide effort to beautify Payson downtown. Murals make art accessible to everyone and these works of art promote a sense of community identity, belonging and welcoming. They attract tourists, increase foot traffic, reduce grafitti and create a feeling that a location is cared for.
The Payson Mural Project has already been instrumental in creating one mural. A beautiful two walled mural depicting local agriculture, the Peteetneet Museum, and the "P" on an adjacent mountain.
During 2020 Onion Days, Sept 1,2,3, we are having a fundraiser with pies thrown at city officials at an "American Gothic" pie throw board.
Two dollars per pie for a throw at a Payson city official or person of choice.
Admission to festival "Onion Days" is free
