Live performance art is not only valuable as a form of entertainment, but vital for creating and experiencing community and human connection. When we have the ability to share the same oxygen and space as others we are simply reminded we aren’t alone in the world. In the context of our current world crisis where human connection is severely limited, entertainment is practically non-existent and isolation is more recognizable in our daily lives than human connection, this piece will ask the following questions:

Without physical human connection and when we remove the presence of a live audience, how is the artist and performance itself affected?

What is the long-lasting psychological impact if we remove art,
entertainment and culture from our daily life and community spaces?

When we view performance through a screen and remove the ability to experience art in a live space, does the power of the message change and what is the effect left on the audience?
