To maintain social distancing safety standards, you MUST stay in your vehicles to watch the cruise.
On Saturday, April 18th at 1 PM, park along Center Street or Lakeview Parkway in Provo to safely watch over 70 classic cars cruise by.
To maintain social distancing safety standards, you MUST stay in your vehicles to watch the cruise. Provo Recreation will ask you to leave if you do not adhere to this standard. We also ask that you turn OFF your engines and DO NOT idle your cars while watching the cruise. Please help us safely spread some positivity within our community!
If you roll down your windows, there MUST be over 12 feet of distance between you and the next car window. For less congested parking, head out to Lakeview Parkway, where there is 3 miles of open parking space along the road.
Why we are doing this:
This is both an inspiring and stressful time for all of us. Many of our enjoyable stress-relieving activities are no longer available. People are getting tired of looking at screens and virtual events, classes and meetings.
We are hoping that this hybrid-event will give folks something to look forward to, as a safe, brief respite from the monotony of quarantine. Please help us safely spread some positivity within our community!
If you have a classic car, and would like to drive in the cruise, meet at the staging area (behind the Provo City Hall) at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 18th. The cruise is 11 miles long. We will provide maps for all cruisers.
